This program has only proven 1 thing... results.
Each week is broken down into two sessions:
1. Speed day- the key to becoming faster lies in 2 things, technique and strength, careful attention will be paid to making sure the body is moving in correct sequence. Second, the muscles used to run need to be properly trained, built in a way that will provide easier, more powerful burst.
2. Agility/movement day - Agility is not developed by repetition of certain drills, it becomes a second nature habit through technique building, and just as with speed, strengthening the proper muscles (hip flexors, glutes, hamstrings, and core) Also, using proper sequencing with upper/lower body parts is imperative.
This program has been used with over 50 kids in the Birmingham area, of that number, close to 80% have seen improved 60 & 40 yard dash times, higher vertical jumps, increased bat speeds, and overall athletic improvement. With that said, the amount of work put in will determine the level of results achieved. It is NOT EASY, but is beyond PROVEN.
